Proceeds from this annual event benefit the student of our Academic Mentoring Program. Our mission is centered around “making college a reality” for D.C. public and public charter school students through programs such as one-on-one weekly academic mentoring of students by adult volunteer mentors, SAT Prep, financial literacy workshops, and student scholarships. While less than 50% of D.C. public and public charter school students complete high school, 100% of College Bound students graduate high school and over 97% of College Bound students matriculate to college!
