The University Club of Washington, DC hosted College Bound's annual Career Night on Monday, March 15, 2010. The event allowed over 100 students to discuss various careers including law, medicine, lobbying and the culinary arts with prominent professionals. Additionally, over 40 parents and guests attended a financial literacy workshop that prepared them for the expenses associated with attending a college or university. Dr. Jonathan Gueverra,Chief Executive Officer of the Community College of DC, spoke to College Bound family about the importance of belief and perseverance while in pursuit of one's goals. In the College Bound tradition, the night ended with our seniors sharing their good news about their numerous college acceptances and achievements.
