Rustin M. Lewis was named Chief Executive Officer at the Board of Directors' July 2007 meeting. Leo Lawless was appointed Vice Chairman and four new board
members were appointed: Leon Rodriguez, County Attorney for Montgomery County, Sheila Stewart, News and Community Affairs Director for WKYS-FM (a Radio One station),
James Brown, Founder and President of Xcalibur, a Washington, DC based IT consulting firm, and Colleen O'Brien, Vice President, Research and Planning, Council for
Opportunity in Education and Director of the Pell Institute.
College Bound now has a Development and Marketing Department, headed by Delphine Hall-Anderson. Lauren Conte joins College Bound
on September 4th as its Grant Writer and Development Assistant.

In January 2005, College Bound opened its 5th site in partnership with the DC Parks and Recreation Department. The new site is located in the Sherwood Recreation Center.
Maurice Brown joined College Bound during his 8th grade year. This year he graduated from College Bound and high school with a $6,000 College Bound Scholarship and a $108,000 Trachtenberg Scholarship to attend George Washington University.
