An initiative of the Virtual Mentoring Program is to connect students, after they have declared a major, with professionals in their field of study to provide more targeted mentoring and career opportunities through a “Mentor Bank”. The Mentor Bank is a pool of professionals from a wide variety of industries and academic backgrounds that use their experiences to lend advice to VMP students.
Individuals in the mentor bank can be current College Bound mentors or individuals whose schedules will not permit them to mentor but still want to bestow advice. Students will be provided a mentor bank list with each individual’s alma mater, major, career and email address. It is then the responsibility of the student to reach out to a mentor that can answer questions related to their college career or life after college.
If you are interested in joining the Mentor Bank, please complete an Mentor Bank Application.
