MediTech Tuesdays
The goal of MediTech Tuesdays is to provide students with exposure to a wide variety of health-related (clinical and non-clinical) and STEM careers through tours, speakers, shadowing, field trips, and academic enrichment. This program will take place on the third Tuesday of every month with enrichment activities throughout the school year to broaden College Bound students’ knowledge of these career options.
This school year, we launched MediTech Tuesday in partnership with Apple, beginning with a creative media workshop at the Apple Carnegie Library. Students learned photography and videography techniques using iPhones, exploring how technology can be a powerful tool for storytelling. This monthly series aims to develop students’ digital literacy and creativity while exposing them to career pathways in technology and media.
